Vital donating 10 tons of rice in 2020 to Angkor Hospital for Children  

Siem Reap – Vital Drinking Water continues donating 10 tons of rice per year to Angkor Hospital for Children on July 30, 2020.

Chunhieng Thavaseth, Head of Marketing of Vital Drinking Water said, this is the second year that Vital has donated 10 tons of rice to the hospital after the company signed a three-year rice subsidy agreement in 2019.

“Vital always pays attention to humanitarian activities, and our team is well-aware of the values ​​of Angkor Hospital for Children, which actively save the lives of hundreds of Cambodian children every day,” he said.

He added, “Our contribution with Angkor Hospital for Children comes from Vital’s 25Riel Foundation, which we regularly deduct 25 riels from the sale of Vital per bottle for social activities.” “With this 25Riel Foundation, we will continue strengthening the scope of humanitarian activities in many ways for consumers, society and sustainable development in the future.”

Tep Navy, Chief Operating Officer of Angkor Hospital for Children, praised Vital for being a local company that always supports humanitarian events and thanked the company for supporting Angkor Hospital for Children by sponsoring 10 tons of rice per year. This participation has highly encouraged the hospital and its team to provide better services for the treatment of Cambodian children while the hospital is in need of this assistance.
