A big ‘Thank You’ to the frontline doctors of Covid-19 from Mee Chiet and Vital

Phnom Penh – Mee Chiet and Vital teams thanked the frontline doctors of Covid-19 at Khmer-Soviet Friendship Hospital on May 19, 2020, after 122 infected patients have been fully recovered and no deaths reported.

Tech Menh, General Manager of Mee Chiet and Vital said “The frontline doctors have dedicated their time and energy, being away from their families to cure the infectious Covid-19 patients. This spirit symbolizes the dedication and professionalism of the doctors. Without such a devotion, we would not be able to guarantee the lives of 122 infected patients and everyone”.

To thanks the health workers, Mee Chiet and Vital teams brought some items such as; the ‘Word of Appreciation” painting to the doctors, with a thumbprint of the staff, the membership card from One More Restaurant, and the flower bouquets, Vital bottle water and Mee Chiet instant noodle.

Professor Dr. Ngy Meng, Director of Khmer-Soviet Friendship Hospital, and the frontline medical team thanked the staff of Mee Chiet and Vital for their great support, as this act of appreciation is priceless and meaningful for the frontline doctors and nurses working on Covid-19 situation. In addition, Professor Dr. Ngy Meng called on Cambodian people to continue maintaining good hygiene, social distancing, and wear masks to prevent the second wave of Covid-19.

Furthermore, besides the ‘thank you’ event, Vital and Mee Cheit also produced a “Thank You, Doctors” video thanking the medical team and the Ministry of Health for taking action to prevent the spread of Covid-19. The video was publicly posted by the day the last Covid-19 patient has been discharged from a hospital.
