Officer, Security

Job Summary

The overall role of Officer, Security is to manage a team of security guards to ensure the order and security of all employees and properties of company (within assigned areas).

Key Responsibilities

  1. Develop and update the schedule of individual security guard to make sure all defined areas and aspects are well covered at all time.
  2. Supervise and monitor the safety, security and order of the company properties, assets and people.
  3. Closely monitor the performance of all security guards to prevent negligence and/or undesirable conducts.
  4. Provide regular training and instruction to all security guards to make sure they understand their tasks and responsibilities, updates of relevant policies; and well perform in accordance with defined roles.
  5. Conduct assessment to ensure that any security guard recruited are trustworthy and fit with the job.
  6. Construct and submit security reports to Premises Supervisor in timely manner.
  7. Be accountable for the security matter at all time (24/7)
  8. Other jobs as assigned by line manager or management

Key Challenges

  1. Be accountable and available beyond normal working hours (24/7)
  2. Require high degree of patience and flexibility in dealing with different situation
  3. Require to be cautious and prepared whenever there is a need to deal with pressured situations

Qualifications

  1. Education:
    • Bachelor Degree in Administration, Management, Accounting, any relevant fields
  2. Experiences:
    • Minimum 2 experiences in supervising security guards
  3. Skills and knowledge:
    • Relevant trainings on as security and security management (physical and intellectual skills)
    • Knowledge in investigation and rapid analysis on security matter
    • Communication Skill
    • Be able to read and write Khmer
