The 5th Share the Warmth to the poor and elders in Phnom Penh

Vital and Mee Chiet co-organizes the “5th Sharing the Warmth” on 13 January, 2021 at Pracha Barmey Park in Sangkat Chroy Changvar. The event aims to bring donation kits such as foods, medical supplies, some cash, and nice haircut to nearly 300 elderly people in Phnom Penh.

The event is held in the presence of LCT, Choeung Sokuntheavy, Executive Director of Vital Premium Water and Mee Chiet, with the participation of senior management, youth volunteers and staffs.

The company has long been organizing this event for the fifth time to promote the culture of sharing, sympathy, resilience and respect. Moreover, the event also alleviates the hardship and shares the warmth towards the needy, especially during COVID-19 pandemic.
On this significant occasion, LCT, Choeung Sokuntheavy stated, “Winter has arrived, it is very difficult for the elderly people who struggles to make a living. They struggle to pay rent, afford household items, food and medicine”.

She continued, “For this reason, Vital Premium Water and Mee Chiet organizes this event hoping to share the warmth to the poor and elderly people.

The donation kits include Vital Premium Water, Mee Chiet instant noodles, rice, blankets, scarves, medicine and some cash. The elderly and the majority of the participants hold low-paid jobs such as cyclo driving, brooms selling, knives sharpening, knives, and some are the disabled people.

Vital Premium Water and Mee Chiet have long been local companies that give back to the community it serves for more than 10 years. Both companies also called on the public, young people to participate in charitable and social activities for the wider future of our society.
