Phnom Penh: Vital co-organized Blood Donation event with the University of Health Sciences on December 20th, 2022, under the theme “Share lives is to donate altogether” which participated by all relevant partnerships, Cambodian Red Cross, TYDA, Union of Youths of Federation Cambodia, One Fraternity Management as well as the employee.

The event aims to inspire the public to blood donation to contribute to all in-need patients. On the event day, there is also special participation from H.E. Dr. MAM BUN HENG, Minister of the Ministry of Health and Chairman of the Board of the University of Health Sciences, H.E. Pr. SAPHON Vathanak, Adviser to the Ministry of Health and Rector of the University of Health Sciences, Lok Chumteav Cheoung Sokuntheavy, an Executive Director of One Fraternity Co., Ltd. (Vital), The president of the National Blood Transfusion Center and all relevant partnerships, lecturers, Employees, and volunteers approximately 300 people.

Lok Chumteav Cheoung Sokuntheavy, an Executive Director of One Fraternity Co., Ltd. (Vital), mentioned that Vital and the University of Health Sciences have become strategicpartners since 2013 in organizing Blood Donation Events. She continued that, Vital has always set priorities by providing quality water, safety, and cleanliness. More importantly, contributing to social activities are such part of the priorities which derived from strong support from all Cambodian people.

H.E. Dr. MAM Bunheng, Minister of the Ministry of Health Sciences mentioned that I would love to appreciate all the generosity of students, lecturers, and volunteers for blood donation, which demonstrate the will and solidarity of the new young generation.

H.E. Pr.  SAPHON Vathanak, Adviser to the Ministry of Health and Rector of the University of Health Sciences mentioned that our social situation has now improved due to the Vaccination strategy of the Royal Government of Cambodia that pushes us confidently organize Blood Donation smoothly.

Dr. Sok Po, the President of the National of Blood Transfusion Center mentioned that, on behalf of NBTC, we would like to express our great gratitude to all civil servants and employees in corporation with the University of Health Sciences, particularly One Fraternity Co., Ltd. (Vital) by organizing such this event.

Noticeably, this large blood donation event of 2022 of the University of Health Sciences received 300 donated volunteers under the sponsorship of Vital Premium Water. Throughout Vital’s 25Riels fund, we will continue maintaining our main pillars contributions in all kinds of social activity and all blood donation campaigns.
