​Phnom Penh: Vital Premium Water organized a campaign against Covid-19 on the morning of the 26^th March in the Boeung Kak Satellite City to distribute gift packages of protective equipment and food to 250 tuk-tuk drivers in Phnom Penh.

The campaign was organized under the theme “My Safety, My Community”, which aimed to contribute to the safety and well-being of tuk-tuk drivers who are facing crisis due to the effects of Covid-19.

C​h​e​a​ ​Men​g​kuon​g​, ​Representative​ o​f​ ​Marketing Department​ o​f​ Vital​, s​aid​, “​T​uk-​t​uk ​driver​s ​are​ ​a​ ​group​ o​f​ ​people​ ​who​ ​face​ ​a​ ​high​ ​risk​ o​f​ ​direct​ ​and​ ​in​direct to​ ​health​ ​and​ ​living​ ​in​ ​difficulty​ ​for​ ​well-being​ ​for​ ​them​ ​and​ ​their​ ​family​.

He continued, “​In​ ​this​ ​circumstance​, ​t​h​e​ ​only​ ​w​e​ ​can​ ​protect​ ​ourselves​ ​from​ ​this​ ​difficult​ ​situation​, ​as​ ​in​ ​today​’s ​event​, ‘​M​y​ ​safety​, ​m​y​ ​community​ ​i​s ​for​ ​our​ ​own​ ​safety​, ​for​ ​our​ ​f​am​i​lie​s ​and​ ​our​ ​community​. ​W​e​ ​should​ ​adhere to​ ​three​ ​protection​ ​and​ ​three​ ​prevention​ ​as​ ​always​”

The gifts that Vital distributed today include Vital Premium Water and Gift Kit, a set of hygiene items per person, which includes a clothing mask and anti-bacterial alcohol spray.

​At the same time, in order to prevent the spread of Covid-19 disease into the community for the third time, Vital encouraged all citizens to strictly participate in the three​ ​protection​ ​and​ ​three​ ​prevention, to protect your family and the whole community.
