Vital Drinking Water Welcomes the steering committee of Decent Employment of Youth in Cambodia Phase 2 to discuss on the recruitment process and performance activities of alumni of the Nationl Polytechnic Institute of Cambodia who was working on the morning of February 7, 2021 at Vital Drinking Water factory along Chhnang Chhnang Blvd., Phlou Paem Village, Sangkat Kork Kar, Khan Prek Pnov, Phnom Penh.

Under the project “Decent Employment of Youth in Cambodia Phase 2”, H.E. Dr. Ith Samheng, Minister of Labor and Vocational Training, H.E. Pauline Tamesis, the United Nations Resident Coordinator for Cambodia and Markus Burli, Director of the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation with several delegates, including representatives of ministries, institutions and UN agencies such as ILO, UNESCO, UNICEF, UNIDO, had a visit at Vital Premium Water factory to meet Vital staff representatives who are also alumni of the DEY project.

During the visit, H.E. Ith Samheng, Minister of Labor and Vocational Training, said, “This project is a good project with a partnership between the Royal Government and all development partners for the development of technical and vocational training to solve employment problems for our youth.

He said, “I am thrilled that the Vital management has taken note of this visit, which has shown a spirit of cooperation. This company not only invests in business, but also takes into account the employment and human resource development of our society. I would like to take this opportunity to thank the company and hope that the company will receive valuable development from this project and create more employment opportunities for our youth.”

Mr. Lao Van, Managing Director represented the executive Director, said, “Through the ability and skills of the students of the National Polytechnic Institute of Cambodia who have been working in Vital Premiurm Water, we would like to appreciate the results behind the program. Decent Employment of Youth in Cambodia under the coorperation of the Royal Government of Cambodia, represented by the Ministry of Labor and Vocational Training and the United Nations.
